JNP(Jawaharlal Nehru Port) is the most modern container handling port presently having 3 terminals i.e, JNPT, NSICT,GTI. JNP is sitiuated across old Mumbai port & is approximate 75 kms away from Mumbai city. It handles more than 65% of the trade in India. The western/northern/southern India hinterlands are well connected by rail/road/sea/air with large number of ICDs (Inland Container Depots) from where all import/ export activities are routed through Nhavasheva port. All major shipping clients are having their services to worldwide destinations.
